Aquis Adventure Microfiber Towel, Large (19 x 39-Inches)
Aquis towels are made of Aquitex, a super absorbant material woven from ultrafine microfibers. The technology behind Aquis' microfiber towel enables water to be drawn from hair and skin more quickly and thoroughly than other towels. And it's especially gentle on hair and skin. Designed to be lightweight, compact and durable, Aquis towels are ideal for everyday use at home, at the gym and while traveling.
Aquis Adventure Microfiber Towel, Extra Large (29 x 55-Inches)
In 1990, entrepeneur, Britta Cox, discovered a microfiber fabric. This fabric was soft and lightweight and at the same time was super absorbent. The Aquis towel is woven from the unique Aquitex microfiber, which makes the towels very absorbant and instantly soaks up water on contact. Aquis towels are designed to dry hair and body faster, more thoroughly and more gently than conventional cotton terry. The Aquis towels are convenient easy to take wherever you go. The Aquis towels are lightweight, durable and compact. There are several different sizes to choose from when purchasing the Aquis towel. Also, there are products for your pets, the Aquis doggie dryer towels which is available in two sizes. The AQUIS towels are time savers in your busy schedule as they dry hair five times faster than ordinary towels.

Real Wheels - Travel Adventures (There Goes a Train/Plane/Bus)
"Pilot Dave" Hood, cocreator and host of the There Goes a... series of children's videos, straps himself into a variety of flying machines in There Goes a Plane. Riding shotgun on a stunt plane that loops and whooshes to a dizzying degree, Hood does a lot of yelping, but he also succinctly and entertainingly describes exactly why airplanes defy gravity. (Adults can learn, too.) We learn the workings of passenger jets, and how the airline industry functions in various other ways, from selling passenger tickets to getting one's luggage to its proper destination. The plentiful comic moments include the sight of Hood falling onto a suitcase conveyor belt. In There Goes a Train, engineer Dave shows us around old and new trains, takes control of a freight train going top speed, and introduces us to steam engines, locomotives, and an old caboose. Plenty to see, lots of location shooting, big action for tykes interested in moving machines. Dave's banter might go over the heads of some of the target audience, but you can ignore that. There Goes a Bus is an information-jammed journey into the secret lives of the thundering buses that thrill us when we're little. The beloved yellow and black ones are only the beginning: besides city buses, cross-country Greyhound types, and touristy double-deckers, we also get a lift on an articulated number (the kind that bends) and--the traffic stopper--a bus that, when driven into water, becomes a boat. Stops for maintenance and under-the-hood investigations keep the wheels going round and round, and rap sessions with a bus-driving honcho buckle us in for the long haul.
Studio: Starz/sphe Release Date: 10/07/2008
Writer-director Preston Sturges's third feature, 1941's Sullivan's Travels, remains the antic auteur's most ambitious screen effort. Having added the producer's stripe to his duties, Sturges combines breezy romantic comedy, arch Hollywood satire, and social essay into a single, screwball story line. The titular pilgrim is John L. Sullivan (Joel McCrea), an Ivy League grad who's enjoyed a meteoric rise as the director behind escapist movies like Ants in Your Pants of 1938, but is now determined to raise his sights toward more exalted, serious-minded cinematic art. His proposed breakthrough, portentously titled O Brother, Where Art Thou?, elicits a studio response closer to "Oh, brother," given the director's utter lack of first-hand experience on the wrong side of the tracks. Instead of capitulating, Sullivan sets off disguised as a tramp, ready to meet life's crueler lessons face-to-face--albeit followed at a discreet distance by a motor home filled with studio handlers and reporters. His ludicrous odyssey may give the boy director no real insight, but it gives Sturges the chance to inject some reliably fine gags and a romantic subplot featuring the luminous Veronica Lake. It's at this juncture that Sturges the writer's darker objective throws a jolting shift in tone. Suffice it to say that just when a comic, upbeat denouement seems imminent, Sullivan travels instead from the sunlit California of the comedy's early reels toward a darker, relentlessly downbeat world influenced more by the social realism of the movies the hero desperately wants to make. By the final reel, Sturges has flirted with real tragedy, turning his conclusion into a meditation on his own seemingly carefree, dizzily comic art. --Sam Sutherland
The steady hand of George Cukor and the grand manner of Maggie Smith bring Graham Greene's lovely novel to spiffy life. Smith, fresh off her 1970 Oscar® win for The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, plays the larger-than-life Aunt Augusta, free spirit and committed eccentric (a role originally considered for Katharine Hepburn). She drags her starchy nephew (Alec McCowen), whose biggest adventure in life thus far has been tending his fine English garden, into a series of globe-trotting escapades. Cukor, one of Hollywood's most accomplished veterans at this point, keeps the episodic action moving while incorporating flashbacks to Augusta's flamboyant career as a bon vivant. He also creates a stage for Maggie Smith, who swells into the largeness and age of the role--she's actually almost a decade younger than Alec McCowen. Equally good is McCowen, who did delicious work as the dogged inspector in Hitchcock's Frenzy the same year. --Robert Horton

Terminator 2: Judgment Day [Blu-ray]
After he pushed the envelope of computer-generated special effects in The Abyss, director James Cameron turned this hotly anticipated sequel to Terminator into a well-written, action-packed showcase for advanced special effects and for one of the most invincible villains ever imagined. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a legitimate sequel: there's more story to tell about a hulking, leather-clad android (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who arrives from the future to protect a rebellious teenager and future leader (Edward Furlong) from being killed by the tenacious T-1000 robot (Robert Patrick), whose liquid-metal construction makes him seemingly unstoppable. The fate of the future lies in the balance, with Linda Hamilton (who would later marry her director) reprising her role as the rugged woman whose son will change the course of history. --Jeff Shannon
Getting martial-arts superstars Jet Li and Jackie Chan together in the same action film is like a fantasy come true, even if The Forbidden Kingdom is more of a children's movie than an instant kung-fu classic. Yes, Li and Chan square off in a lengthy, acrobatic fight scene that is a lot of fun, though it can't be what such a scene might have been even a decade ago: careful editing now compensates for the 54-year-old Chan's slower moves and reflexes. Still, Chan doesn't disappoint as Lu Yan, a drunken immortal in ancient China who mentors a modern-day American kid, Jason (Michael Angarano), the latter having slipped into the past while in possession of a magical staff that belongs to the imprisoned Monkey King (Li). In order to get back to his own time and help an old friend (also Chan) wounded by thugs, Jason accompanies Lu Yan and a lovely warrior, Golden Sparrow (Liu Yifei), on a journey to return the staff. Along the way, a (mostly) silent monk (Li, again), who has spent his life in search of the staff, joins their mission. He helps Lu Yan train Jason in fighting and adding more muscle to the party as it comes under siege from a violent witch (Li Bing Bing) and pathological warlord (Collin Chou). Screenwriter John Fusco (Hidalgo) and director Rob Minkoff (The Haunted Mansion) have made a slightly chintzy, Western version of a Chinese swords-and-sorcery tale. The gravity-defying, flying-through-the-air-while-fighting choreography looks pretty choppy and graceless compared to, say, the martial arts films of Zhang Yimou. But The Forbidden Kingdom is really aimed at kids, not aficionados of epic fight movies. On that score, the movie aims to please and does so for the right audience. -- Tom KeoghBeyond The Forbidden Kingdom on DVDThe Forbidden Kingdom SoundtrackStills from The Forbidden Kingdom (click for larger image)
If Continuum, the second feature length, made-for-DVD film spun off from the long-running Stargate SG-1 television series, marks the end of this wing of the franchise--and it is hardly a certainty, given the show's Lazarus-like history--then all involved, including the viewer, should be well satisfied. Continuum commingles all the elements that have made Stargate so eminently watchable over the years, including engaging characters and storyline, plenty of action, impressive sets, and first-rate special effects. This time the whole gang is on hand, as the most recent SG-1 contigent (Ben Browder as fearless leader Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell, Amanda Tapping as the brainy Lt. Col. Samantha Carter, Christopher Judge as the implacable alien Teal'c, Michael Shanks as the ever-resourceful Dr. Daniel Jackson, and Claudia Black as the irreverent, motor-mouthed Vala) is joined by characters whose roles had been reduced or eliminated along the way; principal among the latter is Richard Dean Anderson, whose Major General Jack O'Neill makes a welcome return after sitting out The Ark of Truth, the first post-series film (both of Stargate Command's head honchos, played by Beau Bridges and the late Don S. Davis, are also back). The villain is familiar as well: Ba'al (Cliff Simon), the last of the "Goa'uld system lords," who's scheduled to be executed--or, more specifically, "extracted," whereby the bad mojo inside him will be exorcised. Things don't quite go as planned, of course. Ba'al has managed to manipulate time, creating a situation where Mitchell, Jackson, and Carter find themselves caught in a paradox, an alternate timeline in which the Stargate program never even existed, making it easy for the bad guy and his gigantic space brigade to launch an all-out attack on Earth (though long-threatened throughout the series, such an invasion never actually happened until now). Our heroes' intrepid efforts to thwart Ba'al's dastardly scheme take them from the Arctic (for real) to the cockpits of F-15 jets and even the hold of a 1930s cargo ship (built specially for the occasion). All this, and Browder portraying his own grandfather too? Yo, Stargate: Continuum rocks! --Sam Graham
